Privacy policy
Fluffcutter, a Chrome extension by Nactore Technologies LLP. Effective 2026-10-22.
The short version
Fluffcutter cleans pages inside your browser. The page you are reading is never sent to us or anyone else. We do not run analytics or ads, and we never sell data.
What Fluffcutter reads
When you click the Fluffcutter button, it reads the page in the current tab so it can strip ads, menus and pop-ups and show a clean version. It only does this on the tab you clicked, when you click. That processing happens entirely in your browser. The page, its text and its address are never sent anywhere.
The one network call
If you buy Pro, the extension checks your licence key. It sends the key and a random device id (a random string the extension makes once and stores in your browser; it is not linked to you) to api.nactore.com. This happens at most once a week. If the server cannot be reached, Pro keeps working. Free features make no network calls at all.
What we store when you buy Pro
Your email address and the Razorpay payment id, so we can deliver your key and send it again if you lose it. We also store your key and the random device ids registered against it (up to 3). We keep this for as long as the licence exists so you can recover it, and delete it on request.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
What we do not do
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising.
- We do not sell or share your data.
- We do not load remote code.
- We do not collect the pages you clean or the addresses you visit.
Your choices
Remove your key from the Options page at any time. To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email hello@nactore.com.
